Children's Room
Most of the first floor of the library has been renovated and refreshed. It's just wonderful! The Children's Room hasn't changed (yet.) It's still the same fun, book-and-experience-rich space we have created for you and your child. Come play here and borrow some books, music, and movies to take home! Feel free to ask questions about finding things in the Children's Room and the rest of the library as well. If we don't know the answer, we will find someone who does!
Activities for Kids
The library offers activities and programs for a wide spectrum of ages, especially programs from birth through 5th grade. Go to E*vents online for complete information about upcoming programs. Some programs are 'drop-in' and others require advance registration, which you can also do on the E*vents page. You can also register by phone at 838-3801 or at the library. If a program is full, you can pick up an 'I'm next' number at the desk to take the place of no-shows. If your child is signed up for an activity but won't be able to attend, please call 838-3801 to cancel.

The American Library Association has an amazing and searchable database of exemplary websites geared to children from birth to age 14, Great Websites for Kids.
