Directions and Local Map

From the east on I-70

From Indianapolis, go west on I-70. By the airport you will begin to see signs for Six Points Road, which is what you want. Just keep moving all the way over to the right as lanes are added. You will finally exit on north-bound Six Points Road. At Stafford Road turn left. Go 2 stop lights (Ind. 267) and 2 stop signs (Simmons St.); the library will be on your right. Go around the corner and into the parking lot.

From the east on US 40

From Indianapolis, go west on US 40. When you get to Plainfield, you will pass a lot of retail businesses (Target, Metropolis mall, WalMart) and eventually come to Ind. 267 (Quaker Blvd.). Kroger will be on the right. Keep going through the next stop light (Dan Jones Rd.). On the right you will see Duke Energy and maybe the little green library sign. On the left will be a Tuchman Cleaners; this is Simmons St.--turn left onto it. After 2 stop signs you will see the United Methodist and Plainfield Baptist churches on the right. The library is on the left at the intersection with Stafford Rd.

From the west on I-70

Take I-70 East to exit 66 (Ind. 267). Turn left (north) toward Plainfield. Go approximately 3 miles to Stafford Road (there are banks on 3 corners). Turn left and go 2 stop signs (Simmons St.); the library will be on your right. Go around the corner and into the parking lot.

From the west on US 40

Go east on US 40. As you come into Plainfield you will go down a hill, through 3 stoplights, and up a hill. At the top of the hill is a stoplight, Carr Rd. At the next intersection, Simmons St. (on the right will be a Tuchman Cleaners), turn right. After 2 stop signs you will see the United Methodist and Plainfield Baptist churches on the right. The library is on the left at the intersection with Stafford Rd.

From the north on Ind. 267

Go south on Ind. 267 into Plainfield to the intersection with US 40. Turn left (east). At the top of the hill is a stoplight, Carr Rd. At the next intersection, Simmons St. (on the right will be a Tuchman Cleaners), turn right. After 2 stop signs you will see the United Methodist and Plainfield Baptist churches on the right. The library is on the left at the intersection with Stafford Rd.
