November Silent Auction

November is here and that brings thoughts of Christmas! The silent auction sponsored by the Friends of the Plainfield Library has lots of books and items for gift giving and holiday preparations. Stop by the lobby display case during your next library visit to see what’s available.

Classics such as Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, a Longaberger Christmas holly mug, Clement C. Moore’s The Night Before Christmas and The Elves’ Letters to Santa Claus are some of the highlights in the auction. There are more Christmas-themed books to help with gift making, decorating and the all-important cookie making. The auction also has a sealed copy of The Complete Cook’s Country TV Show Cookbook (includes season 18), and several children’s books that would make great gifts!
