A Universe of Stories

A Universe of Stories

A Universe of Stories

The Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library, along with 16,000 libraries across the United States, will celebrate space exploration as part of the 2019 Summer Reading Club (SRC). PGTPL is excited about the theme A Universe of Stories, which was chosen by a nation-wide collaboration through the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) to help inspire children and people of all ages to dream big, believe in themselves, and create their own story.

This year, Summer Reading Club coincides with NASA’s 60 years of achievement and the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing. The goal for the SRC is to encourage reading for all ages during the summer months. SRC begins on Tuesday, May 28, and runs through Saturday, July 13, with completion parties for children and teens on Saturday, July 20.
