Andrew Brake’s wife, Lindsay, asked him to install a garbage disposal 4 years ago when they bought their first home. Instead, they got chickens. Fast forward to today and they still don’t have a garbage disposal and Andrew owns an urban chicken farming business, Nap Town Chickens. This class, “How to Raise Backyard Chickens,” will teach you how to become a successful chicken farmer discussing everything from chicks to chickens, different types of feed, styles of coops, winter and summer considerations and everything in between. You will leave this class with all the knowledge needed to go home and start your own flock.
One lucky winner will win a prize and all registered attendees will receive a ticket to the Tour de Coops on September 20 from 1-5 p.m.!
