Do you like music? Do you enjoy flipping through the reviews sections of magazines like Spin and Rolling Stone to find new artists and albums you may like? If so, you should come to Record Club, a new program here at PGTPL.
At Record Club, music is made a more communal experience by choosing five or six new albums a month to listen to and discuss as a group. We post the selected albums on Facebook so that everybody can follow along and prepare to attend the meeting. The first 3 months of the group featured an eclectic selection of music, so there’s something for everyone.
Feel strongly about something that isn’t on the list? Feel free to tell people at the meeting about it! It’s a fun way to explore new music with other people. So, keep your ear to the ground for exciting new music from July, and we’ll see you at the library on Thursday, August 1st at 6:30 PM!
