While visiting the library in June, be sure to stop in the lobby to see what’s new in this month’s Friends of the Plainfield Library Silent Auction! The beginning of summer brings out books on grilling, travel, and perennials. Young readers will enjoy a six-book American Girls collection and Disney Scary Storybook Collection. There’s also a set of Food Network magazines published in 2016 that covers all seasons!
Books to warm your heart and make you laugh include Suddenly Silver: Celebrating 25 Years of For Better or For Worse, and NY Times bestseller A Wealth of Pigeons: A Cartoon Collection by Harry Bliss and Steve Martin. For Charlie Brown fans, we have three Peanuts books that you may want to add to your library.
