The library is hiring for the following position:

Graphics and Social Media Coordinator (Full-Time – 37.5hrs/week)

The Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library is looking for an enthusiastic and organized person to foster, enhance, and promote PGTPL’s brand and online presence. Applicants must be familiar with graphic design principles and software, and should have advanced knowledge and understanding of social media administration and analytics, email marketing, website maintenance, and content writing. A customer-oriented attitude, flexibility, and the willingness to learn are preferred qualities. Strong candidates will be able to provide technology assistance and troubleshooting for library staff and users alike. Library Assistant – Adult Services (Part-time)

PGTPL is currently looking for someone to join our team as a Library Assistant. In addition to working the main service desk, Library Assistants perform a variety of duties including planning library programs, marketing and promoting the library, and assisting library users. Applicants must possess a friendly, helpful personality, must be flexible, must have patience and attention to detail, and the ability to remain approachable while working on projects. Applicants must be very comfortable interacting with various forms of technology and have the ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of technical issues with computers, handheld devices, eReaders, digital services and office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners and the like.
