29 Oct Color STEAM
Fun with ROY G. BIV program! We started with White Rabbit’s Color Book, then did two experiments with color, guessing what would happen, and seeing what really happened. The first photo is three Skittle candies dropped into water. First the ink washed off and stayed separate, but when swirled, the colors blend and turn into a brownish color! In the second project, the kids dropped red, yellow, and blue food coloring onto their pile of baking soda, then added vinegar. With a bubbly whoosh the colors mixed, creating orange, purple, and green. This science program really put the ‘A’ into STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math)!
