Services at PGTPL

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a nationwide challenge that encourages parents and caregivers to regularly read aloud to their children. Register to do the program online or stop by the Children’s Room if you prefer to do the paper version. Participants get small prizes and add stickers to the colorful animals from the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Bill Martin.

The library has board books for the youngest kids, and programs for ages 0-5 as well as older children. Staff will be happy to help you find “new baby” books for older siblings.
