Are you looking for ways to support your child’s growing literacy skills? Try some of these family literacy activities! Don’t be afraid to think outside the box: children learn in many different ways and everyday experiences can be great enrichment tools. Here are a few suggestions you can enjoy together!

Family Literacy Activities

  • Listen to an episode of a podcast for kids! Try to find one that you will all enjoy.
  • Set aside a special evening to read together while eating dinner!
  • Print off a reading bingo sheet (for example, this one or this one). The first family member to complete a bingo can get a special prize!
