Owls!

Owls!

Here are some nice little owl families made by K-3rd graders at our ‘Owls!’ program for K-3rd grade. They learned about real owls from the book Owls by Gail Gibbons, then heard two of my favorite new owl stories, The Happy Owls by Celestino Piatti and Little Owl’s Orange Scarf by Tatyana Feeney. The puppets are made from empty TP rolls folded down, super easy. We did some math and decided that my supply would support each child making a family of six owls, which they made and lined up for a family picture.

Now you can borrow the books, save your TP rolls, and make an owl family at home!
