15 May We Can Help! Kids Collection Kits
Is your fifth-grader fascinated with mummies? Does your 3-year-old love books about cats? Browsing the library with kids is the best way to introduce them to books they will love, but what do you do when the library is closed? Never fear–PGTPL is here for you with our Collection Kit service!
A few things to note:
- The form says educators, but this service is currently available to any PGTPL card-holder who wants to request children’s books.
- We are only able to provide books that are currently on our shelves. If you need a specific title, you can place a hold on that book through our catalog.
- We require at least 48 hours to fulfill your request.
To request a Collection Kit, PGTPL patrons can fill out the form on our website here: https://www.plainfieldlibrary.net/kids/educator-resources/collection-request/. Tell us your child’s age, describe one or two topics of interest, and let us know how many books you would like to borrow. We will put together a set of books that you can pick up using our curbside service.
If you have any questions about Collection Kits, please call the Children’s Room at 317-838-3801.
