24 Nov Gratitude Activities for Kids
November is a great time to work on establishing a habit of gratitude with your children. Establishing a habit of gratitude can help form positive mental health in your child, which improves mood, helps them handle stress, boosts resilience, and raises self-confidence/self-esteem! All of these attributes can help them be more successful in school, in social situations, and in all of life. Below are four activities/crafts you can use to talk about gratitude with your child!
Suggested Activities
Moving through these prompts daily can help establish a habit of considering what you’re thankful for each day!
Start a Gratitude Jar
This can be something you add to daily, or you can add a bunch of things to be grateful for and choose one a day to talk about with your child! It can also go on for as long as you’d like.
Play this game as a family and discuss what you’re thankful for!
Create a Thankful Tree
Make this and put it somewhere your child can see it daily!
Try all four activities, stick to one for a while, or create your own! These are simple ways to build gratitude in your child!
