RAD Class Graduates

RAD class 2019

The Plainfield Guilford Township Public Library, in partnership with the Plainfield Police Department, proudly announces another class of RAD graduates!

Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) System is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing to the basics of hands-on defense training. The class, presented by the Plainfield Police Department, also includes lectures and discussions in a group setting.  More than 20 females ages 12 and older participated during this four-session class.

Per CDC guidelines, masks are recommended for all patrons in the library. Beginning Monday, August 9th, we are requiring masks for patrons and staff attending any in-person programs.
