Summer break can immediately bring certain things to mind: going out and enjoying the sun, hanging out with friends, or going on trips with family. But have you thought about visiting your favorite library this summer? You should give it a try; there are so many things to do! Join us in Teen Central, bring your friends, and play some games on one of our computers. More of a console player? We have a load of games for both our Switch and PS5, available to visitors in 6th through 12th grade. Feeling crafty? We have materials and books to get you started.
If you’re looking for a great book to read this summer, we have a wide selection of books and manga, including some of the newest releases. All of which you can use to start off your summer reading log. As you get through your log, you’ll be able to win books, prizes, and raffle tickets for even bigger prizes. During Summer Reading Club, which runs June 2 to July 14, we will have daily programs starting at 12:30p. All you have to do is show up, and participation gets you even more of those raffle tickets. And don’t forget! Participating in Summer Reading Club also earns you an invite to the after-hours completion party on July 11! No matter what you’re into, you’ll find something to enjoy this summer at the library!
