August Silent Auction

August Silent Auction

August brings us more hot weather, kids back in school, and an interesting variety of books in the Friends of the Plainfield Library silent auction! There are nostalgic books on cars of the ’50s and ’60s, gas stations, and city sidewalks; military history books about the Civil War, ships and seaman of the Revolutionary War, and the Battle of the Little Bighorn; and books with spectacular imagery on Monet’s Giverny, Indiana landscapes, and the Daytona 500.

Stop by the Plainfield library lobby display case to see these books and more. Bids can be placed in the notebook on the lobby kiosk through 4pm on August 31. Thank you for your support!
