05 Nov November 2026 Silent Auction
With the holiday season coming soon, November is a good time to look for those much-needed stocking stuffer items and other gift ideas. The Friends of the Plainfield Library silent auction may be able to help. The auction has two sticky paper cubes and a mug that would make nice gifts for fans of libraries and books. There’s also a PartyLite mini crystal castle tealight votive and the card book Postcards from the New Yorker: One Hundred Covers from Ten Decades that others would enjoy.
For the cooks in your life, the auction has Fix-It and Forget-It Christmas Cookbook with 600 slow cooker holiday recipes and a commemorative 50th anniversary green bean casserole dish from Campbell’s Kitchen with the recipe printed on the dish! For the youngsters, there is a sealed Amazing Machines on the Move collection of six board books and a gently used Christmas at Last! board book.
Be sure to stop by the lobby display case to see these items and more in the November silent auction. Bids can be entered in the notebook on the lobby kiosk, and the highest bidder at 4pm on November 30 will be notified that they are the winner! Thank you for your support.
