February Silent Auction

February Silent Auction

Books for the February Silent Auction are now on display in the lobby case and ready for your bids.  There are books about former Presidents and First Ladies in honor of Presidents’ Day.   You will also find books about various things to do that might come in handy on these winter days, as well as books about animals including our four-legged friends that keep us company year-round.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Silent Auction, books and other media are displayed at the beginning of each month in the case on the north side of the lobby at the Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library.  The items selected are from generous donations and Library withdrawals.  You can register your bid for any book you would like to own in the notebook on the nearby Friends of the Library kiosk.  At the end of the month, you will receive a phone call from the Friends if you are the highest bidder and then you can pick it up and pay for it anytime during Library hours.  All proceeds benefit programs at the Library.  Thank you for your support.
