FOL February Silent Auction

FOL February Silent Auction

It’s February and that means the Friends of the Plainfield Library (FOL) has new offerings in the silent auction housed in the lobby case. The auction features books about several of our nation’s presidents to commemorate President’s Day on February 20.  If you are interested in presidential marriages, words and phrases made popular by presidents, or a secret service agent’s experience with five presidents, you may want to stop by.

Fans of the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip might want to add the hardback version of The Indispensable Calvin and Hobbes: A Calvin and Hobbes Treasury to their collection. Praised for including desserts in the first chapter, The Red Hat Society Cookbook contains recipes, anecdotes and photographs from members around the world. Wine enthusiasts, both new and long-term, will be enlightened by Larousse Wine: The World’s Greatest Vines, Estates, and Regions.

There is so much more to see! Please visit the library and place your bid in the notebook on the lobby kiosk. The FOL appreciates your support.
