January 2026 Silent Auction

Happy New Year from the Friends of the Plainfield Library! We hope one of your first stops in 2026 will be a visit to the library to see what’s new in the January silent auction.

Ever wanted to learn to knit or crochet? The auction includes a kit with two skeins of yarn, two large needles and easy instructions that will teach you the basics in a day. For those who like simple recipes or are learning to cook, there is the vintage Betty Crocker’s New Good and Easy Cook Book.  National Geographic’s Destinations of a Lifetime and World’s Best Cities will have you planning your next getaway or at least daydreaming of where you might go one day. 

The auction has several children’s books including PJ Masks 5-Minute Stories, books for history lovers, the Elton John autobiography, plus many more. Thank you to all who have donated these interesting books and to those who support the silent auction with your bids!
