The Friends of the Plainfield Library have updated the silent auction for July. There is a signed copy of the autobiography of Minnie Pearl. A 3-part Reader’s Digest series about National Parks, Historic Places and Back Roads and Hidden Corners is available. Also, the auction includes a book with maps of the Civil War, travel books for three European cities, a Calvin and Hobbes book, and an adult coloring book with 52 colored pencils. There are a variety of books for children. Stop by the lobby display case next time you visit the library to see what interests you. All proceeds help fund library programs.
