Summer Reading Club 2026 Bookmark Contest

Summer Reading Club 2026 Bookmark Contest

The Summer Reading Club Bookmark Contest is back for 2026! Artists of all ages and skill levels can enter original designs based on this year’s theme: Unearth a Story. Entry forms are available at the library and by download here. Entries must be submitted at the Information Desk by Tuesday, March 31 to be considered. One winner and runner-up will be selected from each age group to have their designs distributed as bookmarks during Summer Reading Club. Their designs will also be shared on the Library website and social media and will receive a package of bookmarks to share with friends and family.

Rules:

  • The contest is open to all artists, regardless of age, skill level, or professional status.
  • No library card is required to enter or win the contest.
  • One entry per person.
  • All entries must be original artwork and cannot contain copyrighted material including images, characters, or logos.
  • Entries will become PGTPL property and submissions will not be returned to artists. By entering this competition, you are granting us permission to use, reproduce, and distribute images of your work. For those wanting to retain a copy of their design, it is recommended to make a scanned copy of your entry before submitting the original to the library.

Tips:

  • Make sure to use saturated colors – these will translate better when printing.
  • Fill the entire entry space.
  • Entries will be judged on how well they incorporate the Summer Reading Club theme: Unearth a Story.

Download your Bookmark Contest Entry Form here. We look forward to seeing everyone’s submissions!
