TumbleBooks: Database for Kids

The Plainfield Guilford Township Library offers a variety of databases. TumbleBooks is an option that is helpful and fun for children. The TumbleBooks database can be found under the Digital Resources tab on the library website.

Using TumbleBooks

TumbleBooks is an online database created for elementary school students. The database collects picture books that have been animated with music, sounds, and narration. TumbleBooks is easy to navigate with defined tabs, such as, story books, read along, ebooks, graphic novels, non-fiction, videos, learning language, playlist, and games.

TumbleBooks provides quizzes, games and the ability to create book reports for children to help with comprehension. Most of the books display the reading level, author, illustrator, and publisher. Create playlists and favorite lists to save and easily locate books your child loves to read. TumbleBooks offers books in French and Spanish.
