"Tinted Canvas"

The Art Work of Herschel Fall

It was in part thru experimentation and an overabundance of curiosity that he began working with multiple mediums . . . acrylics, oils, watercolors, and pencil.

Oils and acrylics added "body" to his work, as well as a means to express his desires for blending and shading.  He began on paper, but quickly became aware of the the potential inhenent in working on canvas.

Herschel is a wet-on-wet painter, as it allows him ample time to make changes and to blend his colors.

The goal: to bring to the canvas both visual interpretation and personal experience . . .an addition of subltle changes and meanings.
