Civil War Letters of John Mills

This collection of Civil War letters is from John H. Mills to his family in Guilford Township, Hendricks County, Indiana (near Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana). Mills wrote these letters between 1862 and 1865. Mills enlisted as a private in the 12th Indiana Volunteers, most of whom were mustered from the Mooresville area.
